This site offers a glimpse of my work as a longtime magazine editor. It also showcases a selection of published articles I have written and published in a wide range of Colombian media outlets. These pieces were driven by very diverse questions and interests. However, they stand on two shared pillars: my journalistic curiosity—about what I deem relevant and timely in both the public debate and the cultural universe around me—and my commitment to writing in an honest, engaging, and clear manner. Also, I offer here a sample of my work as an amateur illustrator.

Magazine editor
I've coordinated the content production and served as an editor for several print magazines in Colombia. And I have done so for over 14 years. This has entailed choosing the best issues to cover in each number, and also leading the proffessionals involved —from renowed journalists and writers to skilled and tallented designers, photographers and illustrators.

Illustration
Ink, pencil, paintbrushes or a digital tablet. The technique doesn't matter: as long as I have something at hand to draw with, I will create personal interpretations of what I have around me. Some of these images have been published in print media.
